The Lite version of CutXtra‚Ñ¢ is suitable for a personal use without the sophisticated features of the commercial release. The Lite software is simpler to install: the plug-in has to be copied in the same folder like the complete version, but there is no Server, as the plug-in alone can drive in a very simple way the plotter.
The differences with the complete version are:
– no network operation: for each machine you need a separate plug-in;
– no other utilities coupled to the main plug-in;
– no job logging;
– no step–by–step or back operations;
– no queue of the jobs: each job is sent to the plotter immediately;
– no PowerPC code: the Lite version is 68K code only, and works in emulation;
– no colour separation;
– no sheet reading from the plotter: the correct size has to be set from the user;
– fixed plotter configuration: 9600, 8, 1, no parity, feeding on, modem port;
– only 10 plotter drivers, chosen from the most common.
How can I pay the shareware fee?
The “Register” application included with the software allows you to choose the way you’ll pay the fee and will calculate the right amount, eventually in foreign currency: simply choose the software you’re using and type the quantity. You can print the order to fax or send it via mail or save to send it via e-mail: please note that the credit card number you’ll type is encrypted to enhance security.
